Ingredients Notes & Substitutions
To make this simple salad dressing you will need the following simple ingredients.
Would you like to save this?
- mayonnaise
- natural yoghurt – I’ve used a natural, unsweetened coconut yoghurt to make this dressing dairy free. You can also use regular natural yoghurt, plain Greek yoghurt or even sour cream.
- fresh dill – dill is the star of this recipe, however you can easily swap out dill for other fresh herbs like parsley, fresh chives or fresh basil.
- fresh lemon juice – I always prefer to use fresh lemon juice instead of bottled lemon juice for salad dressings as it has a better flavour.
- sea salt – this recipe calls for finely ground sea salt. If using sea salt flakes you may need to add more salt to taste.
- cracked black pepper
- extra virgin olive oil – other oils you could use are avocado oil or flaxseed oil.
