Dairy Free Rice Pudding

- arborio rice - almond milk - vanilla extract

- honey - cardamom powder


Warm the milk. 


Add the almond milk, vanilla extract, honey and cardamom powder to a large saucepan. Stir to dissolve the honey and heat until warm.

Add the rice to the pan.


Add the rice and stir frequently while the rice absorbs the milk. As the rice absorbs more liquid it will want to stick to the bottom of the pan so keep stirring.



Once the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the milk, turn off the heat and place the lid on to continue steaming while you prepare the toppings.

Prepare toppings.


Choose your desired toppings and prepare. Once prepared, serve the rice pudding warm topped with your choice of toppings.


Store leftover rice pudding in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat before eating.
