Slice the top off each head of garlic so that the cloves are exposed.
Prepare the foil packet by placing a sheet of baking paper on top of a sheet of foil (both roughly the same size). You will need to have four seperate sheets of each baking paper and foil, one for each head of garlic.
Place a head of garlic onto one of the sheets of baking paper & foil. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Take the opposite edges and fold together to create a packet. Repeat this step with the remaining heads of garlic.
Place each foil packet containing the garlic heads into the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 200 degrees celsius (392 F). Cook for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, carefully remove from the packets from the air fryer and allow to cool to touch. Use straight away or store for later use.

Storage
freeze - pop cloves out from skin, into ice cube trays. Cover and freeze. Once frozen, pop out into a freezer bag and place back into the freezer until needed. Freeze for up to one year.
refrigerate - place into a glass jar with the lid fixed firmly on. Use within 5 days. Alternatively, cover the cloves in olive oil, place the lid onto the jar and use within 2 weeks.
